I've always been pleased with GE products so, when I needed to replace my old reliable GE microwave that I'd had for nearly 15 years, I went with GE again. It's the perfect size for my kitchen counter. Favorite features are the express cook and add 30-second buttons. Express cook allows me to put something in and just push one button (1 - 6) instead of pushing three digits (1:00 - 6:00) for cook time. The sensor cooking options also saves me time. I'm very happy with my purchase and know I can trust the reliability of GE to know this one will last for years.

Enjoyed my old one until it got steamy on reheat "noodles" and wouldnt stop until unplugged. I took a look inside and found the inner roof discolored and puckered. Not sure why, but got a warranty and will watch inside of this one more closely! Fits nicely and has been in constant use.

This product replaced our previous GE microwave. This one is even better than the previous one was. We use our microwave a lot and are very happy with the ease of use. It has many different cooking options that are easy to understand. Appearance is excellent and goes well with our cabinets.

I was looking for a basic microwave that wasn't too small or too big and I found it with this one. It does what it is supposed to do without any problems. It does have sensor cooking which I haven't used yet but when I set the timer and power level, it cooks quickly and gets the job done.

The door switch of our GE micro failed after just 7 years which made the micro run when you opened the door. . I imagine that Best Buy guys could have replace the switch, but since the unit was older, I thought I might as well buy a new one. I bought the same model since I knew the features of it.

This Replaced our 14 Year Old GE Microwave

This unit replaced our 14 year old GE Microwave that finally died earlier this week. This model is nearly identical to the old one, which obviously is no long made. The keypad design, size (slightly smaller than the old one) and features led to our choosing this over the many other brands and models. Now we will have to see how this new unit performs and holds up over time. Initial impressions about noise level, platter size, keypad design, clock display (green LED, better than old units' fading vacuum fluorescent display) are all good. Purchased on-line after store hours from nearby Best Buy, and their handling of the order and the curbside pickup was a good experience today.

I like my new microwave. It looks good on its shelf. I replaced my old one that only lasted a mere 35 years with this one. I sure hope this one lasts at least half as long! I only rated it as good because I haven't had it that long.

The microwave really does work great! My only issue is that in the course of unpacking, I found a sticker stuck directly onto the control panel screen. In trying to get the sticker off, I damaged the cover of the control panel, and the damage is very noticeable to me! The sticker said something like "Please remove the protective covering before use." You would think the sticker would have been on that protective covering instead of stuck directly to the microwave.

I am replacing my 20 year old GE microwave with this unit. What I like is how easy it is to use, very quiet and the clock numbers are a bit bigger than in the past and easier to see! While a bit smaller than my 2.2 - it fit perfectly in the cubby and will continue to be a workhorse. If I can get 20 years out of this one too! I'll be very happy. Well done GE. We love our new GE Microwave! We're replacing our old GE Microwave that lasted almost 20 years! That's unheard of these days! This microwave is simple, just like our old one, and it even has the info taped to the inside front opening for help, so we don't have to look it up...(that's for my husband to use..ha!) We chose this microwave to replace almost the identical GE microwave we have had since 2008. We upgraded to the stainless and black look to match other kitchen appliances. I love that the control panel is almost identical to old microwave. My mother is a senior and does not have to learn a new control panel.
