Super angry about our LG Fridge/freezer. Only had it 16 months. Ice maker crapped out multiple times so we replaced the ice maker. That worked for about 2 months and doesnt work at all anymore. Apparently the freezer doesnt keep a consistent temperature. Waste of a lot of money.

It was only 7 months before the refrigerator would only cool to 52 on the highest setting and the ice maker wont dump the ice unless its reset each time. Also 0 is the coldest it will go. Im waiting on the only service provider in my area to squeeze me in for service before my warranty is up. On a positive note it looks good.

This was low budget buy for me because it was an emergency time where I had to replace my old refrigerator with this new Lg and do I love yes I do.. would I buy it again yes I will Im so satisfy with how it work.. my fan went out on it I called LG Customer service and they was on it. They send someone out right away to service my refrigerator with a new fan and its been running fine ever since. LG Thank you for your great customer service and your wonderful product. Unreliable Refrigerator

Evaporator Fan Motor went bad lasted less than 2 years. Had to call the service person which they charged me $400 but no charge on the part $50. Root cause of the issue drain got froze leaving ice all over the freezer was the bad fan motor which LG shouldve covered the cost not by me. Unreliable product quality that dont even last 2 years couldve purchased the new one instead. Will not buy LG refrigerator again very disappointed. Will not even recommend to family and friends. I work in automotive industry and typically this type of bad parts are covered by the warranty. Unsure the warranty terms between LG and LGs suppliers but need to revisit test validation and should file warranty claim to the supplier not to the customer. However service person was very nice and friendly. I would give him 5 starts though.

I had to replace the refrigerator that was installed when my house was built. It was forty years old and had been a great refrigerator but it was getting past its time. It was making a variety of noises but still working. I knew it was about at its end. I got a new LG refrigerator and love it. Bought LG refrigerator with icemaker two weeks ago. Like the look of stainless steel door but impossible to keep fingermarks and other marks off door-looks awful. Would prefer outside door handles rather than recess in cooler/freezer to open door. No way to pause icemaker. ice sensor doesnt hold ice from falling if you try to raise sensor to up position-previous model I owned not LG you could raise ice sensor to a locked up position to pur ice on hold. Temp setting in refrigerator is at lowest level of intensity #1. Refrigerator thermometer I use still registers below freezing temps in refrigerator.

We have multiple locations that require a lot of tvs an appliances an such we love lg products but recently we have a motor coach we bought new with a lg refrigerator it acted up we lost a full load of food we were on vacation called customer service they sent a LG service technician out he replaced two parts and said its fixed four days later not cooling again called again an a week later an loss of another full load of food they sent out a very reputable service technician from the area were we was staying. This technician stated that the previous parts that were changed had NOTHING to do with the problem of our refrigerator the technician could find it hard to believe that he would have changed the parts that he did because it had nothing to do with the problem. Any way its up an running now I lost $650 in food an supposedly you are sending me a check for $300 not very happy we in total own 22 lg products Thanks JOHN

I worst decision I ever made. I would give it a0 star but it wont let me.......DO NOT purchase this refrigerator. Mine will only be two years old Feb. 2024 and has been nothing but a nightmare. It started making very loud noises and banging noises. I called customer service they said defrost for 24hr then plug in 48hr and it should be ok well.... that didnt work. He said something was frozen. It has been a month and still not working correctly. either too cold or not cold enough. I tried calling CS back and was on hold for one hour then got disconnected. I havent had time to try calling back. I lost a lot of food because of this.

My refrigerator is still not working properly. It still makes very loud noises and the ice maker leaks and only makes ice every now and then. I need to unplug it to stop the loud noise-that works once in a while. I have again lost valuable food in both refrigerator and freezer. I would never buy anything LG. I also tired to log in on the website but it said there is no record of mehowever I received emails and texts from LG

Puzzled by the fridge automatically turning off

My LG fridge was delivered in Feb. 2022. I really like that it has an ice maker that was key for me. We are snowbirds so left the fridge running but turned down when we went north in 2022. All was good when we arrived back Nov. 2022. When we arrived back Nov. 2023 the fridge had turned itself off and it looked as if something exploded inside it. I cleaned it up and turned it back on and it has been running ever since. I called the service center and they said they would send someone out to check it over. They were supposed to call to confirm the appointment. No one called so I called again. The second person I talked to said if you didnt open the door occasionally the fridge would automatically turn off. If that were true why didnt it turn off the summer before? So does that mean if I am away for a week the fridge would automatically turn itself off? That doesnt make sense to me We have had power failures before but it turns on to the same setting when the power returns. So what actually happened here. Guess we wont know as no one will come to check it over for us.

Horrendous service. poor quality NEVER LG AGAIN

My wife I purchased the LG fridge with ice maker on Aug 272023 Order # WM44641652 from Home Depot. I called them after we realized the ice maker did not work they said it was not their problem it was an LG warranty issue and gave me the LG warranty dept. I spoke with a Dana and she said someone would be out to repair the ice maker They sent installers NOT techs who said it was not repairable and would order a new fridge. When I tried to get a delivery date I was told by the warranty dept that was not true they would send a Tech out and gave me a case # cnn23101804. When I tried to find out when the warranty dept gave me another case #cnn231023129655. someone named Ian said she would try to reset the appointment. EACH TIME I HAVE TO DRIVE TO OUR CONDO WHERE THE LG IS I HAVE TO DRIVE 4 HOURS. Finally last Friday Nov 10th LG sent a Sears repair tech out to repair the ice maker. I sincerly hope it works. I will NEVER buy and LG appliance again nor will my family or friends. My wife and I have told everyone about the poor quality and horrendous service. We also are holding Home Depot culpable for this awful experience OVER AN ICE MAKER.

I purchased my LG refridgirator through Best Buy. They delivered it on the day we set and was early. I love my new fridge its roomy and keeps foods nice n cold. Cant wait to fill it work good food healthy food.

TERRIBLE REFRIGERATOR

This product has been a disappointment 6 months into the purchase. If maker quit working. 7 months in the refrigerator door shelf broke into 2 pieces. 1 year in the main refrigerator shelves started cracking. It is be held together with glue and duct tape. DO NOT BUY.

HORRENDOUS SERVICE

Ice machine didnt work and we could not get someone out here to fix it because we were in a remote area. Trouble shooting did not help at all and didnt even talk about our particular appliance or the ice maker. After several failed attempts at getting a live person on the phone or a live person to come out and fin it I finally paid out of pocket to have someone local fix it. A new ice machine needed to be installed and it was not cheap Hoping I will be reimbursed through the warranty as this was brand new but LG was no help I will NEVER order another LG appliance

After 1 year it quit working. Didnt get the extended warranty the parts that went out the fan motor were not covered had to pay an appliance repairman to come out had to order the parts that were on back order and Im still waiting still owe $700 on my credit card on the refrigerator.

Doesnt stay cold

I really want to like this refrigerator unfortunately it has had issues a few times within the short period of time that weve had it. I have wasted about $600 in groceries if not more due to the fridge not keeping cold and having to defrost it multiple times. Weve had someone come service it and were told the issues wouldnt be covered under warranty. Im at a loss for what to do with this thing

Ive had this fridge for about a month now and it works great. Its just a basic fridge it Makes ice and keeps food cold. At first I kept hitting my head on the top freezer door when I would lean down into the fridge to get something but its because both doors have shelves that are wider then normal. After a week I was fine I just had to learn to pull myself back out a little more before standing up straight its natural now. The installer hooked up the ice maker and plugged it in within an hour I had ice The cubes are half moons and they are a tad smaller then my old fridge which makes it easier to get them into my water jug now. It doesnt hurt that the fridge looks nice too I didnt want a fancy fridge so I got this at a reasonable price. Bought a stove from Home Depot at the same time and got them both delivered at the same time. Getting them delivered was a nightmare but thats a whole other story. I will never order anything that I have to be home for for it to be delivered from them again though.
