I am now waiting for my 4th WT7480 in a month to be delivered. Each of the 3 prior machines made the same extremely loud noise sounding like machine gun bursts. Costco has graciously exchanged each time but it is hard to believe all 3 machines were defective. I always thought LG was a brand that I could count on for a quality product. I am wondering if the quality control department has been cut.

We bought this unit last year but after 11 months it started making noises as if there were bunch of quarters in the machine. LG sent us repairmen from two different places. The first one said it was the motor and I told him that it wasnt but he insisted that the motor had to be changed. So we let him change the motor and sure enough there was nothing wrong with the motor and the noise didnt go away. The second repairman said it was the transmission and the drain pump. He ordered the parts and came to change but couldnt take the machine apart. Also after one year the smell of mold is unbearable We keep the door of the washer open making sure moisture doesnt get trapped and we wash the tub every month with vinegar but the smell of mold did not go away. This machine has caused us so much agony Its a waste of money Ready for a new one

Ive had 21 cycles since I bought this and so far were happy of its performance. Cleans well reasonably quiet. I like how it has all the features Im looking for - change the water temperature add rinse change speed of spin the best part is theres additional download feature for other cycles. The washer is mid level category not too expensive and too many fancy features. Just right for my familys need - 2 adults and 3 kids. Compared to my previous washer this is far better

See through top is pretty cool. Has tons of features and I can customize my wash from work clothes to normal clothes to delicates. It has an actuator that comes up after wash begins so it definitely helps get my work clothes clean. Stainless barrel is a nice feature as well. And u can set it up to alert u on ur phone when its finished or u just want to set up a delay wash is nice so those late nights u can drop a load in and go to sleep and itll start when u set it so it doesnt keep u awake. Its super quite too.

I love my washer. It has tons of options for washing. One thing I dont like is that I had an issue with an item going down through the bottom into the drain pump. This is not suppose to happen and the manual does not address this at all. There is no filter like other washers and they dont address that either with this model.

Love this washer its high load capacity. Living in the Pacific NW you generate a lot of laundry its great to be able to put in one large load be done. Only problem we have had is our son keeps bringing over comforters large bulk items that he cant wash at home.

Got this set to replace my 13 year old LG washer and dryer. Didnt want the WiFi at first but it is super handy because units are in the garage. Washer is excellent. Dryer works really well sometimes t-shirts need more time than automatic assigns. Steam cycle on dryer is a game changer works like ironing your clothes.

This is big on the inside. We decided to do a top loader given the new and updated technology of the machine. I have had it for a couple of months and it has worked seamlessly. Has quite a few programs to choose from to get the best wash. A bit of a challenge with the wifi but I was able to do with some help from LG references. Overall we are quite pleased with what it has been able to deliver.
